May the Kveten be with you

  1. I bet this poster for Episode III was printed in the U.S.A.
  2. I bet Fox asked what is the name of the fifth month in Czech and got the (correct) answer: "Kveten".
  3. I bet nobody at Fox is interested in Czech grammar. Otherwise they would know that "Kveten 19" does not mean anything (possibly it might mean "May of 2019", with a bit of imagination). The correct way of writing "May 19" in Czech is "19. Kvetna".
  4. I bet people from Fox think they are smarter than us.

The correct way of writing "May 19" in Czech is NOT "19. Kvetna. The correct way of writing "May 19" in Czech is "19. kvetna."

I don't even want to go there. Do you think English readers would get that? :)

Do they really make these posters in USA? That would explain a lot, I thought it was made in Czechia and that they just wanted to make it "cool" (they apparently think something written in English is "cool").

As far as I know, DTP is done on one spot. Centralized DTP results into unified look and nonsense printed. They tend to print several language versions on one spot as well e.g. for CEE in Hungary.
You can find such FUps quite often in movie advertising due to low # of billboards/posters needed.
