Very Merry Christmas from Henrietta and Merna

Sorry about my previous post (PF 2009) which might be disturbing for some viewers. To make amends, here is heartfelt Christian song, much needed in these difficult times:

Also: Special bonus from their father.

Damn! I so didn't need to see this in these difficult times.

Reminds me of a charity performance for some kind of nursing home I've witnessed in the local supermarket a few weeks ago. I only had to listen to those two quite annoyed girls desperately trying to harmonize (while neither of them could intonate properly on her own at all) and accompanied by joyful (but also terrible) man with keyboards and pre-programmed backing tracks (not exactly pitch perfect to begin with) for about ten minutes I spent in the shop (means I've heard just about two "popular" songs from the eighties - the music and whining was playing from the shop's PA as well, so there was nowhere to hide from it) and I was already thinking about donating pretty much everything I had on me to the nursing home, if only that would make them shut up for a few minutes. It really was VERY painful to listen to - thanks to the unique way their pitch was slipping and complementing each other's off-keyness of their vocal performance, there probably wasn't one single note they'd get right. I felt really sorry for the cashiers that day.

What a story. But ehm well why do you buck us with it with no pay?

Henrietta and Merna don't look as they are for real. At least the younger one seems to be having trouble keeping a straight face.

On the other hand, the old man (purportedly their father) is quite progressive. It reminds me of what Plastic People of the Universe or DG307 used to play.
