Yes, you are. Books have a foreword quite often, but I never heard about a book with a forward.

Sorry to say, but Tim Burton just meant to push the book sales forward, that's all...Foreword is something else:)So, really, there is no mistake, it's just the way you choose to interpret the meaning.
