As a proud owner of Nintendo Wii, I was dismayed that 2 days after the official Europen launch, I was still unable to use ANY online features except firmware update. The Wii connected to the server but then told me that "WiiConnect24 and Wii Shop are currently not operational". The solution was to change my country from Czech Republic to United Kingdom!
They probably cannot start the online service for the Czech Republic until they can offer you an agreement in Czech language you can click through...
Life is hard. Especially when you're Czech ;-)
So, Fuxoft, which games have you played so far, and what you liked, disliked the most ? Does your gamecube games work without problems ?
Which of you readers, really want to see video of Fuxoft waiving the remote in front of the big screen? :) No, I don't have a link, just asking you to support this idea!
Yeah, I'd like to see how Fuxoft waves his stick.
and why it's SO hard to really change your country to United Kingdom?
It is not hard. However, Fuxoft and everyone from the Czech Republic expected news and forecasts from the location where they actually live, not from the rainy and sleepy UK. And the second question is: Do you loose all you Wii-points and downloaded VC games when you change back to the CZ country? Nobody knows. :-)
You are absolutely awesome my friend! I have been pulling my hair out trying to get this to work reconfiguring the modem, etc. Thank you again for such an easy fix to this extremely annoying problem I was also experiencing here in the CZ...
Krasny novy rok!
