Criticker
If you are are not sure what movies to watch, try Criticker.com. It's a site where you grade movies on a scale from 0 to 100 and, based on your grades, the system finds other users with same preferences and tries to calculate how would you grade other movies (which you didn't see yet)! I am really surprised how well it worked for me so far. You can compare your favorite movies with mine here.

There was a similar site (moviecritic.com), which doesn't exist anymore. It worked very well. I've been (unsuccessfuly) trying hard to find something similar. Well, thanks for finding it for me:)
Great idea, but it sometimes rate movie at 30% and I would give about 80%. Probably it need more training data...
Donnie Darko, The Abyss, Contact, 28 Days Later, 2001, ... Good movies. The Criticker is very time consuming!
It is good system for critickers, because now is almost unique...
