After translating five really bad Laurel & Hardy movies form 1940s, I watched their last movie ever, Utopia (from 1951). I had rather uneasy feeling watching these frail old men being beaten over their heads. Especially Laurel (61 years old, very sick) looks
more like a zombie than living human. Also, this film features
young Danny Trejo!
Danny Trejo was born in 1944. So what are you talking about? ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, that's him. 7 years old.
ReplyDeleteAre there ANY good L&H movies? .-)
ReplyDeleteabraxis: Probably the old silent stuff. I am really not sure, I haven't seen any of their movies for many, many years.
ReplyDeleteyeah, danny trejo. imdb.com has to add it into his profile :-)
ReplyDeleteLittle tip for easier creating of screenshots in mplayer:
ReplyDeleteAdd -vf screenshot to command line or vf=screenshot to config file and then you can press the "s" key to save screenshot.
Poslouchas nekdy Mark Kermode's film review on Five Live (BBC), je to taky jako podcast, mate oba podobne nazory na filmy.
