Existence of evil is not in a contradiction with existence of ultimately good God. Leibniz found one of the possible explanations in 1700's (he wasn't the only one, though), so go and study.
The fact that something is not contradictory to something else in no way implies its existence. Also, Leibniz was Pastafarian.
You're right, just what you wrote aren't the _only_ three possibilities.
