Mac -for me- represents extremly friendly interface and smart desing of OS API build upon great architecture of unix/bsd. I am sure FF has tried it, but I can't remember reading his attitude towards MacOSX. So far for the workstations. As long as we speak about servers, I haven't found better solution the Linux - be it my home server or large server cluster within my organization (government-military) - and again, for many reasons from the qualifiaction of the administrators, patch policies to management (using tivoli/unicentre/openview, not just low end tools), lifecycle and security.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06939872614037164932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6827917.post-63053998575012834962007-10-19T10:20:00.000+02:002007-10-19T10:20:00.000+02:00holly torvalds!i'm really happy to read thisinfo :...holly torvalds!
i'm really happy to read this
info :-) now i can say to everyone
that linux is not only for hackers
but also for normal users.
great! i've been using linux for
more than 10 years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6827917.post-23902563932723223552007-10-19T10:02:00.000+02:002007-10-19T10:02:00.000+02:00Well, Ubuntu is great linux for windows users, but...Well, Ubuntu is great linux for windows users, but still has problems with configuring internet connection and it's unsupport of some media files isn't of my liking as well...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6827917.post-41498255544998313302007-10-19T09:30:00.000+02:002007-10-19T09:30:00.000+02:00Hard to believe (both cases). My Linux experience e...Hard to believe (both cases).
My Linux experience ended when I found setup of wi-fi WPA way to hard to keep trying.Evildahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13250646654525917784noreply@blogger.com
