Sort-of-Halloween
Until fairly recently (long after 1989 revolution), "All Hallow's Eve" celebrations (called "Dusicky" = "The Souls" in Czech) meant that you went to a cemetery and lit a candle there. I am happy to report that - at last - Czech kids are warming up to the idea of scary Halloween masks and monsters. Unfortunately, no trick-or-treating yet. (Click below.)

Nobody beats Baby Jesus when it comes to Christmas and I mean nobody. Anyhoo, the American Halloween seems more children-friendly than the Czech one... not that I care about children.
And by the way, I thought it was some kind of KKK gathering, when I looked at the picture.
Speaking about that red fat bastard and those little cripples in masks.. wall... I don´t like ´em, you know...
(I don´t like Dusicky either, but thats not exactly the point :))
